Scope
This privacy policy applies to this website and explains which personal data is processed when you visit the site or contact us. PACE CULTURE TRAIN has a separate app-specific privacy policy covering account, training, health and device data.
Website hosting
This website is provided as a static website through Render Services, Inc., 525 Brannan St, San Francisco, CA 94131, USA. Technical connection data such as IP address, access time, requested resource, referrer, browser/device information and status data may be processed as necessary to deliver, secure and stabilize the website.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, stable and performant operation of the website. Render provides a Data Processing Addendum and may use subprocessors. Where data is transferred to the United States or other third countries, Render states that it relies on applicable transfer mechanisms including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where necessary, EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Language selection
Language selection is now represented by separate German and English URLs. No JavaScript language preference is required to switch website content between languages.
Cookies, analytics and tracking
We currently do not use analytics, marketing or advertising cookies or comparable tracking technologies on this website. PACE CULTURE currently does not create web analytics or advertising profiles from your visit.
If consent-based technologies are introduced later, this privacy policy will be updated before deployment and consent will be obtained where legally required.
Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide, including contact details and the content of your request, to respond to you. Depending on context, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Early Access
The Early Access form requires your email address. You may optionally provide your first name, current or target half-marathon time and whether you use or plan to use Apple Watch.
We use this information only to manage your Early Access registration and send information about testing and product development. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing andreas@paceculture.de.
For consent records we may also store the consent version, selected language, signup source and time of registration or last update. Existing registrations under the same email address are updated instead of duplicated. Early Access data is stored on PACE CULTURE's Render infrastructure for as long as required for the registration and related communication or until consent is withdrawn, subject to statutory retention obligations.
External links and social media
This website may link to external services such as Instagram. We currently do not embed social-media plugins that transmit data merely by loading the page. When you follow an external link, the respective provider is responsible for subsequent processing.
Recipients
Personal data is shared only where necessary to provide the website, process requests, comply with legal obligations or where another legal basis applies. Render is used as the technical hosting provider; communication may also involve the relevant telecom and email providers.
Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you may have rights to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection (Art. 21) and withdrawal of consent for the future.
